Our traditional caramel recipe that slowly caramelizes a variety of dairy products and sugars for a rich, buttery taste and is the origin for the name of our company. I was sending pounds of the test batches to my best friend (someone who would be honest and had a great palate – her husband was a chef too), and she finally said, “You can’t keep sending me pounds of caramel a week, I’ve just had my second child and am trying to lose weight!” I responded with, “I’m just sending you some sugar love.” And that’s how the name became reality!
This caramel is considered soft bite (so no hard candies here) and also a soft chew (which means no crazy sticking to the teeth), in fact we have many customers comment that this is the only caramel product that doesn’t affect their dental work.
INGREDIENTS: sugar (both white and brown), corn syrup, evaporated milk, heavy whipping cream, butter, vanilla
Allergen warning: may contain dairy, tree nuts (pecans, almonds, pistachios, cashews), soy and peanuts. Gluten-free kitchen. While there are no peanuts in this recipe, it is all shared equipment, and so anyone with severe peanut allergies should not ingest as peanut oil can spread so easily.
