Our small batch Basic Witch brittle is made using pepitas (raw pumpkin seeds) and a mixture of spices (cinnamon, ginger, allspice and nutmeg) for a witchy fall treat!
This flavor of brittle is our answer to, "Do you have anything pumpkin spice?" and we love how it came out! The pie spices give the brittle a wonderful warmth and the pepitas toast nicely in the cooking process.
Allergen warning: may contain dairy, tree nuts (pecans, almonds, cashews), soy and peanuts. Gluten-free kitchen. While there are no peanuts in this recipe, it is all shared equipment, and so anyone with severe peanut allergies should not ingest as peanut oil can spread so easily.
